Interference Channel

چکیده

An interference channel is a network consisting N senders and N receivers. There exists a oneto-one correspondence between senders and receivers. Each sender only wants to communicate with its corresponding receiver, and each receiver only cares about the information form its corresponding sender. However, each channel interferes the others. So an interference channel has N principal links and N(N − 1) interference links. This scenario often occurs, when several sender-receiver pairs share a common media. For example, in satellite communication, two satellites send information to its corresponding ground station simultaneously. Each ground station can receive the signals from both of the two satellites and its communication is interfered by the other pair’s communication. The study of this kind of channel was initiated by Shannon in 1961. However, this channel has not been solved in general case even in the general Gaussian case. In this summary, I will present some known important results about interference channel, including capacity region for interference channel with strong interference in section III, a inner bound of capacity region for general case by Carleial[4] in section IV and some results on Gaussian interference channel in section V.

Gaussian Z Channel with Intersymbol Interference

In this paper, we derive a capacity inner bound for a synchronous Gaussian Z channel with intersymbol interference (ISI) under input power constraints. This is done by converting the original channel model into an n-block memoryless circular Gaussian Z channel (n-CGZC) and successively decomposing the n-block memoryless channel into a series of independent parallel channels in the frequency dom...

Achievable Secrecy Rate Regions of State Dependent Causal Cognitive Interference Channel

In this paper, the secrecy problem in the state dependent causal cognitive interference channel is studied. The channel state is non-causally known at the cognitive encoder. The message of the cognitive encoder must be kept secret from the primary receiver. We use a coding scheme which is a combination of compress-and-forward strategy with Marton coding, Gel’fand-Pinsker coding and Wyner’s wire...

On The Secrecy of the Cognitive Interference Channel with Channel State

In this paper the secrecy problem in the cognitive state-dependent interference channel is considered. In this scenario we have a primary and a cognitive transmitter-receiver pairs. The cognitive transmitter has the message of the primary sender as side information. In addition, the state of the channel is known at the cognitive encoder. Hence, the cognitive encoder uses this side information t...

Capacity Bounds and High-SNR Capacity of the Additive Exponential Noise Channel With Additive Exponential Interference

Communication in the presence of a priori known interference at the encoder has gained great interest because of its many practical applications. In this paper, additive exponential noise channel with additive exponential interference (AENC-AEI) known non-causally at the transmitter is introduced as a new variant of such communication scenarios‎. First, it is shown that the additive Gaussian ch...

Interference-Aware and Cluster Based Multicast Routing in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks

Multicast routing is one of the most important services in Multi Radio Multi Channel (MRMC) Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). Multicast routing performance in WMNs could be improved by choosing the best routes and the routes that have minimum interference to reach multicast receivers. In this paper we want to address the multicast routing problem for a given channel assignment in WMNs. The channels...

A More General Version of the Costa Theorem

In accordance with the Costa theorem, the interference which is independent of the channel input and known non-causally at the transmitter, does not affect the capacity of the Gaussian channel. In some applications, the known interference depends on the input and hence has some information. In this paper, we study the channel with input dependent interference and prove a capacity theorem that n...
